"I learned that women can do anything when they have their mind set to it. And that we can organize outside of our own personal political preference. There were four national co-chairs, 70 national organizers and 400 state coordinators. A lot of us have never met each other before. There were people who were yoga instructors, people who came from the fashion industry, activists, political differences, and those who didn’t vote."
"There are around 26,000 women who ran for office last year. This year we announced the Power to Polls initiative to build electoral power. In year two we are focused on getting more women elected, registered to vote, identifying and providing support to progressive candidates."
