Simone Manuel, Olympic swimmer specializing in sprint freestyle and student at Stanford University. In Rio’s 2016 Olympics, she won two gold and two silver medals. She is the first African-American woman to win an individual Olympic gold in swimming, set an Olympic record, and set an American record.
